This document is a complete yet concise illustrated manual for the sport of Olympic Weightlifting. It covers in detail the intricacies of the Snatch and Clean & Jerk. The various phases of the lifts are clearly explained for the novice and advanced lifter alike. It also includes some general training recommendations and specific exercises and techniques designed to assist athletes in mastering the more subtle aspects of the sport.

This guide has been developed and refined based on 50 years of experience by legendary coach and longtime NSWA president Ian Meadows. It is worthwhile reading for lifters of any level, and their coaches.
